MitoPrime Product Specifications

What Is MitoPrime

MitoPrime is NNB Biotech’s patent-pending, bio-perfected form of the histone derivative. L-ergothioneine (ET). ET is the first full array cyto-protectant, as it protects the total cell from the full array of damaging agents.

ET, nature’s unusual amino acid, exhibits powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cell-protecting, and immune-boosting properties. It is considered the farthest-reaching, deepest-penetrating cyto-protectant ever known. Scientists have dubbed it the “longevity vitamin” due to its ability to protect nuclear DNA, mitochondrial DNA, and immune cells. MitoPrime benefits everyone from 25 years old to 105.

The MitoPrime Advantage:
Chemical Structure

  • MitoPrime is delivered in “thione” form, making it more active and available at physiologic pH than the standard “thiol” form
  • The chemical structure of MitoPrime is the L-isomer form, the most biologically active
  • We use the free amino acid, not the salt form, giving MitoPrime the highest gram efficiency rating (concentration level)
  • HPLC tested for purity and optical rotation tested for active isomer

The MitoPrime Advantage: Manufacturing

  • NNB’s patented synthesis process endows ergothioneine with the highest bio-availability possible
  • Our patented peptone quality optimizer ensures that every batch is manufactured to the highest possible purity
  • Our patented natural fermentation technology ensures that MitoPrime is 100% natural
